Angie! I just found my way over here from your latest diet & exercise video. I didn’t realize you had recipes here! I’ve been a fan of the youtube channel for ages and this is exciting. I have a food blog & cookbook, and have written a column for The Washington Post. If there’s ever a way for us to collaborate on some recipes, I think that could potentially be a lot of fun. Even if not, I just wanted to once again tell you how much I love what you do. You recommended a Vitamin C derivative to me a few weeks ago since I’m sensitive to the scent of L-AA, and it has been fantastic.

  I doubled the batch and now I have lunch all week long for work. I actually added red pepper flakes to the sauce to give it a little kick. Thank you it was delicious.

Hi Angie. I am new to your site and just love it. Your so inspiring, creative, and talented. I’ve copied some of your recipes, and I think I’m going to try the turkey meatloaf first. I can’t believe your in your 50’s. I’m a decade younger and was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer this past June. I’m cancer free now and hope to stay that way by including all of your wonderful, healthy suggestions for living a healthy lifestyle. Thanks again… you’re an inspiration.

I make almost the identical dish but with baby kale. The first time I made it, I found my kids fighting over the little crunchy pieces left in the pan. I love your blog, by the way. I have been trying to get up the courage to start my own (healthy cooking).

  I use “Rice Select” or “Nature’s Earthly Choice” rice and just follow the package directions.

  I found the fig jam with the rest of the jellies, I got “Bon Maman”… it’s so good, I used it on a New Years Eve pizza appetizer I made (fig, proscuitto, & arugula). I’ll have to post that recipe soon too!

    While visiting my daughter for her east-coast bridal shower, we found a great little restaurant in Beacon Hill called Figs. We shared a delicious fig and prosciutto pizza. Would love it if you can post your recipe! Sounds like something nice to try for 2, as we are almost empty nesters. Thanks Angie for being so inspiring!!
