Dyson Air Wrap ~ FULL REVIEW + Hot Tool Comparisons!

I’ve been testing the Dyson Airwrap for over a month to give you a full review on each of the attachments + putting them head-to-head with my favorite styling tools!

The Dyson Airwrap is definitely a cool tool but it takes some practice to figure out its best features. I got the Volume + Shape Airwrap ($499) to test and it’s definitely a mixed bag with some of the attachments performing better than others!

My favorites are the pre-styling dryer and the smooth flat brush for doing my everyday blow out. They cut my drying time in half and give me a better result than I can get with a blowdryer and round brush (but I’m round-brush challenged)!

The round brush seems cheap and could work much better if the bristles gripped the hair more… I didn’t see a $450 difference between using it vs. my John Freida Hot Air Brush (or the Revlon One-Step Styler that I also tried).

The airwrap barrels are just a miss when used as intended (on wet hair to curl from root to end) but they can work well on dry hair for a loose wave.
