Flash Review ~ Sarah McNamara Miracle Skin Transformer

I’ve been hearing about the wonders of Sarah McNamara Miracle Skin Transformer for a couple of years now, but never tried it. Then it popped up at my local Costco for $30 (it normally retails for $48), so I threw it into my cart, and used it the very next day!

I’m the first to admit I’m a sucker for the marketing claims on the package, and this was no exception! So when it says it’s a 5-in-1 Tinted Skin Perfecter and a beauty breakthrough that’s going to give me flawless skin in 15 seconds, and even Redbook raves “It’s like airbrushing in a tube, we swear”, I ‘m all in!

Looking at the ingredients, I notice it’s got most of the same things as most anti-aging tinted moisturizers with sunscreen. It’s mainly silicones (lots and lots of silicones), water, botanical oils, with vitamin e, retinol, and ubiquinone, and a mix of physical and chemical sunscreens.

At Costco, it was available in 3 colors, light, medium and tan. I chose the medium shade and it seemed to be a pretty good color when swatched on the back of my hand. Outside of Costco, it also comes in translucent, medium tan, dark, and deep dark which is a decent range of shades for a tinted moisturizer. It feels VERY slick so it spreads really easily with the fingers, but it stays wet feeling so it comes off on everything and feels like it’s sliding around.

So, time for the million dollar question… Did it a miraculously transform my skin into flawless perfection? Absolutely NOT. As a matter of fact, this is one of the worst products I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried a lot!) Take a look:

SM Full Face

Holy White Mask, Batman!
I look like the Joker (or maybe the Joker’s mother)!

SM Cheek Close Up

Zero Coverage + Pore Accentuation!
Just what I always hoped for!!

SM Forehead Close Up

It’s a Miracle!
My skin looks Dry AND Oily all at once!

Sarah McNamara Miracle Skin Transformer somehow managed to accentuate every flaw, from pores to wrinkles, dry skin to overall tone. Why am I always so shocked and disappointed?
