Hi Angie,
I want to start by saying I’ve quickly become a big fan of your YouTube channel and binge watched many of your videos. However, I am so disappointed in the foundation Friday for the ordinary colours. I have only just now seen it, but it made me really upset. You totally phoned it in! I understand you have a life and didn’t get the right shades but I would like to see you go back and give them both a proper foundation Friday each. Look at the work you put into the recent too faced peach perfect comfort matte Foundation Friday and compare to what you did for the ordinary serum foundation. I understand that you haven’t loved the ordinary up to now but this was the first time I thought you were biased against them. I really want to keep liking your channel but this really bothered me.

  I’m sorry you feel that way, but “totally phoned it in”?? I don’t think so. As you can imagine, I try a lot of foundations. Some don’t get a Foundation Friday video at all and some get lumped together into one “Epic Fails” video. I can’t spend 4-5 days on every Foundation Friday or I’d have no time for anything else and these just didn’t warrant the effort IMHO. I stand by my review and I think I provided enough information (with primer/without, 3 different lighting scenarios, 5 & 10 Hour checkins, phone test, flash test) for my audience to make a decision on whether to try this or not.

I watch your reviews and I have tried some products that you have approved because I trust your integrity and your opinion. I would love if you would do a full face review of No 7. I am still looking for my foundation HG.

Hi, thanks for the review on these foundations, I’m tempted to try the coverage foundation due to the price and a few more of their items. Do they offer help on the colors? Would that coverage foundation be buildable? I love the Timeless vitamin C but trying to find a replacement for the Mat S6 as I have been using on neck and arms and go through it so fast. Thanks again.

Hi!
I went to the Ordinary website, and did some research, what a cool company! I did order some of their squalane lotion because there is an eye product I use that contains squalane, and I felt it made a difference in my undereye lines and dryness, and for the price, I thought, why not have some for my over-my-lip lines too.

Thought of another great product for summer when foundation feels too heavy for everyday, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Protector. I live in Florida and use it daily instead of foundation.
I agree with the post about your sense of humor. I cracked up at the hair video, when you said your hair felt like a dead mouse.

Hi, Angie. I just can’t tell you how nice it is to see a channel geared to the 50+ crowd! I have already shopped some of your recommendations (love the Sephora eyeliner and the Rimmel lipliner), and now that I know you look for things that I would, I’ll keep buying your suggestions. Like you, I am very regimented and disciplined, and I look at food/exercise as health insurance. I wanted to tell you about 2 products that I have come across and really like: Loreal Revitalift Bright Reveal scrub and Elf cream to powder blush in Rose Royally. I have hormonal melasma down the bridge of my nose and the Bright Reveal line has really helped.
I love your videos and am jumping for joy that you’re around!

Hi Angie, love, love Foundation Friday! Before I found your site, I had my own foundation quest and after 28 foundations, no HG so I find your reviews very useful to help me eliminate! All settle into my pores at 61 still very oily skin), no matter the primer, powder, setting spray, method of application. Lancome Nude Miracle did well, right up until it was discontinued last year – so the search is on still. Although technically neutral undertoned, I get better matches with pinker undertone foundation but there are so few.

Do you know of any colorant that can be mixed with a too-yellow foundation to get it more pink? I triedCover FX drops but the pigment was heavy and settled in my pores more? A search revealed several color mixers, so looking for a recommendation of brand and color (if you happen to read this).

Love your sense of humor and I hope you had fun in FL!

Watch you every week and know your reviews are entertaining to watch and with so much integrity supporting your honest and practical advice! Still hoping you will do a review of FACE Atelier, a made in Canada product for all ages, skin types and colours including all nationalities in this small world we live in. AND they provide samples of all colours as many of us only buy stuff on line these days and can’t afford to make a mistake. Please consider 🙂
