Angie Test: I got a sample of the makeup and the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer. The primer reacted with my sunscreen and balled up, so I wasn’t able to use it. I applied the foundation using a damp blending sponge over my serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. The foundation goes on very sheer, spreads easily and blends easily. But, it also clings to dry skin and tiny hairs leaving whitish spots and powdery looking edges (on my nose, and chin). It’s fairly light reflective to give a dewey finish, but that just made my pores look bigger (notice the orange peel skin on my cheek)!  It settled into and accentuated wrinkles. It wore for 4-5 hours, then was completely gone by 7 hours.

Hourglass 1

This was my least favorite of the 5 high-end foundations I tried, but also the most expensive, which just shows that the more expensive product isn’t always the best.
