Foundation Test ~ Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer
Stats: Liquid in a squeeze tube, $43 for 1.5 oz., SPF 20, 12 shades
Claims: Lightweight flawless coverage. Helps control oil breakthrough and gives skin a sheer hint of color for a healthy natural glow. Evens and enhances without hiding the skin. Good for sensitive or oily skin.
Angie’s Test: This is not a foundation, but a tinted moisturizer, but I threw it in here because I perfer sheer coverage. True to it’s claims, it provides sheer light coverage that definitely needs concealer to cover any discoloration or age spots. It has a satiny finish with some light reflection, that looks softly dewey. The dewey finish minimizes the look of pores but makes wrinkles look more pronounced because of the light reflecting off of them. It needs a setting powder to keep the deweyness from looking shiny or oily. Wears only 4-5 hours.
Phone Test: Leaves a smear on phone glass.
