Thanksgiving is a time to look at the cup as half full and appreciate all that we have that’s good. It’s a day to put worries aside and enjoy the simple pleasures of family, friends and food.
Each part of the process of putting on the holiday is an opportunity for bonding through communal effort. One group chats in the kitchen while making the meal, another does the dishes while catching up, then the young and old laugh together playing board games. Those are the moments that make the holidays special and the one’s I’m most grateful for.
