Sun Care Melanoma Awareness Week hosted by Thinkbaby Thinksport
May is National Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month (cancer.org) and Skin Cancer Awareness Month (skincancer.org) so I’m pleased to be teaming up with Thinkbaby/Thinksport to help raise awareness of this disease during their Sun Care Melanoma Awareness Week campaign.
You already know that the one non-negotiable part of my daily skincare routine is my sunscreen. That’s because exposure to UVA/UVB rays causes photo-aging and skin cancer and use of sunscreen can help to prevent both. So, while skin cancer is the most prevalent form of cancer, it is also the most preventable.
Thinkbaby and Thinksport:
I recently had the chance to try Thinkbaby and Thinksport all mineral sunscreens and they’re great products for those looking for sunscreen free of parabens, phthalates, PABA, 1,4 dioxane, chemical UV absorbers, and nano-particles! Thinksport is an elegant formula that doesn’t leave a heavy, greasy film or a white coating on the skin. I’ve been wearing it on my exposed skin while gardening this week and I love the protection and the feel of it on my skin!
Thinkbaby and Thinksport safe sunscreen is the most award-winning sunscreen on the market and has a healthy lists of firsts and achievements:
- First sunscreen to pass Whole Foods Market Premium Care Requirements
- Top rated by the Environmental Working Group since 2010
- Highest levels of SPF, UVA/UVB and water resistance as allowed by the FDA
- Nontoxic, mineral-based sunscreen free of biologically harmful chemicals
During Melanoma Awareness Week, Thinkbaby and Thinksport are offering $4 off when you purchase 2 tubes of sunscreen using the code Flashy16. Click Here to Shop (ends May 7, 2016)
For each purchase made using my code I’ll make a donation of $4 to Skincancer.org.
