It’s Sephora sale time again and that means I’ll be sharing my top picks in makeup, skincare, and haircare that are sold at Sephora. From April 10th to April 20th Rouge members get 20% off, VIB members get 15% off, Insider members get 10% off, and all items in the Sephora Collection are 30% off. To unlock these deals you must be logged into your Sephora account and use code SPRINGSALE at checkout. For the Sephora Spring Sale I’ve compiled a list of products that I believe are the best of the best, the things that work the best on mature, less than perfect skin, and that make life easier for us.
SEPHORA COLLECTION – 30% OFF
Eyeliners
The Sephora House brand makes two different eyeliners, both of which are awesome. One is the Sephora Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner and the other is the Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeliner. Both collections are creamy and easy to apply liners that come in the most beautiful matte and shimmer shades. I use them every single day in my waterline and they don’t come off until I take them off at the end of the day. The main difference between them is that the Sephora Retractable Waterproof Eyeliners are, as they say in the name, retractable, while the Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeliners have to be sharpened.
I just love how many colors these eyeliners come in because I like to tight line my upper lid with a darker shade and then do my lower waterline with a lighter, shimmer shade. I have the Retractable Eyeliners in the shades Shimmer Navy, Matte Brown/Black, Matte Charcoal, Shimmer Taupe, & Shimmer Green, and I have the Colorful Eyeliners in the shades Stone, Flirting Game, T-Rex, & Fresh Mint.
Sephora’s Best Skin Ever
Another really great Sephora collection product is the Sephora’s Best Skin Ever Foundation. This is one of my holy grails because of how good of a foundation it is. This foundation is full coverage, helps cover any age spots or discoloration, and just looks great on mature skin. It also comes in 40 different shades making it so inclusive to all skin tones.
Sephora Blur It Powder
Another Sephora favorite of mine is their Blur It Loose Powder. This is a new setting powder that they came out with last year and it is a really good product. It comes in four different shades, I have it in the shade brightening pink, but it also comes in banana, peach, and lilac. It’s a very fine powder that feels so soft, and it works really well to blur the skin.
Sephora Hand Cream
The final Sephora brand product I actually impulsed purchased when I was over there a few days ago. I grabbed the Sephora Collection Hand Cream and I am so glad that I did. It’s a nourishing hand cream made with 10% shea butter and it promises 10 hours of hydration. It comes in three scents, I got the lavender one, but is also comes in coconut and aloe vera. The lavender smells really nice and fresh and I love that it’s the perfect size to keep in your handbag. It makes the skin on the back of my hands feel nice and moisturized, without any greasy residue.
MAKEUP
Foundation
If you’re looking for a great medium to full coverage bulletproof foundation for those special occasions I highly recommend the Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation. I really, really enjoy wearing this because I just keep getting compliments! On two days that I wore this foundation both my daughter and my hairdresser mentioned how smooth my makeup and skin looked. I tested it for 10 hours and for the first 8 hours it wore really well and looked beautiful. However, the last two hours it got a little shiny right through my T-zone. I wear this foundation in the shade 2.5N, which was a good color match for me, but it comes in 42 different shades.
Then for everyday makeup, my favorite foundation is the Saie Slip Tint. While it is very sheer, it still gives enough coverage to even out your skin tone and cover up any redness or age spots. It just blends everything together really beautifully but also naturally. I really love the Saie products because of the way that they reflect light. All their products are very, very luminous, which usually is not for me, but the way Saie does luminosity it’s almost like a blurring effect. This foundation is what I use when I want an easy makeup look that I know is going to wear well and make my skin look fantastic.
Concealer & Setting Powder
My favorite concealer is the Lancome Idole Full Coverage Concealer. It is absolutely beautiful on mature skin, it has great coverage, and it’s not drying. Out of all the concealers I’ve tried this is the one that settles in my wrinkles the least and once I set it with a little bit of setting powder, it gives me perfectly smooth under eyes.
A great setting powder to pair with the Lancome Concealer is the Tarte Creaseless Powder. This setting powder is great because of how inclusive the shades are. It comes in a total of 8 different shades, ranging from translucent to a dark brown called Very Deep. So if you have a dark complexion, they have a setting powder that you can use that won’t look white on your skin or give you flashback in photos. It is a great setting powder that takes down the shine and blurs the skin.
Blush
I currently have two favorite blushes sold at Sephora that I want to share. The first one is the Laura Geller Serum Blush Cheek Tint. This is a serum blush with a sponge applicator that you twist to dispense the product. It really blends so well into the skin and it has subtle pigmentation so you can’t over apply it. Since it’s a serum it has a really nice glowy look to it, like light reflecting off of your skin. I have this in two shades, Poppy Peach and Beautiful Blossom, both of which give a really beautiful natural flush.
The second blush is the Saie SuperSuede Talc-Free Blush. If you prefer a powder blush over a liquid blush this is the one I recommend. It’s a beautiful blush that is super easy to apply and blends really smoothly. Even though this blush is a powder it isn’t super matte, and actually gives a little bit of glow. So when applied to the cheekbones it really makes them pop in a beautiful way. This blush comes in six shades, but my personal favorite is the shade Bella.
Bronzer
Like the blushes, I also have two favorite bronzers that are sold at Sephora. The first one is the Merit Bronzer Balm which is a cream bronzer stick. This bronzing stick has lasted me forever, there is so much product in it. It’s so easy to use, I just draw on where I want my bronzer and then blend it out with my A507 Angled Brush from BK Beauty. It’s very natural looking and blends seamlessly into the skin. I wear the shade Clay, but this bronzer comes in five different shades to choose from.
The second bronzer I’ve been loving lately is the Saie Supersuede Bronzer, and I have it in the shade Polarmo. I find a lot of the bronzers are too warm or too dark for me, making them look very heavy-handed and bit muddy on my face. This bronzer by Saie does not do that, it is the most subtle, beautiful color and it just looks really natural on the skin. Even though it’s called super suede it’s not completely matte and does reflect a little bit of light. It’s also not super opaque, which makes it super easy to blend.
Eyeshadow
Also in the Sephora Sale are three eyeshadow palettes that I have been my go-to’s over the past few months. The first one I’ll recommend is super simple, it’s the Natasha Denona Mini Eye Sculpt Palette. It’s just five pans of matte color, but with the perfect everyday essential shades making it so versatile. They’re not too warm, not too cool, and work on every skin tone. If you are new to eyeshadow or overwhelmed by big palettes, this is the perfect little palette.
Another favorite of mine is the Urban Decay Naked Shaped Palette. This is a beautiful palette that gave me some of my prettiest eyeshadow looks throughout 2025 and I’m sure you’ve heard me rave about this palette before. This palette has a mix of shimmer and matte shades that can be used to create so many stunning eyeshadow looks. In the center of the palette are four cream products that can be used in more ways than just eyeshadow, making it great for travel. The lightest of the cream shades I like to use as an eyelid primer, the black I’ve used as eyeliner, and the two brown shades are great for contouring. I have this palette in the cool-tone, but it does come in a warm-tone and is just as beautiful.
The third eyeshadow palette is the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Palette this is full of beautiful matte shades and it so versatile. I wanted to include the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Moonlight Palette but it’s no longer available and also all the shimmer shades just fell off my eyelids. The matte palette is a much better option and the shadows lasts all day on the eyelid.
Eyebrow Pencil
My favorite brow product from Sephora is the Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Eyebrow Pencil. I really love the shape and the tininess of this brow pencil. It’s really, really small so I’m able to create really fine lines when filling in my brows. It’s really creamy and easy to use for thickening your brows if you’re brows have thinned as you’ve aged. I use the shade Rich Taupe and it comes in five other shades for those with light brows, dark brows, and all the brows in between.
Lip Sticks & Glosses
Last category for makeup is lip sticks and glosses which is going to be the biggest category because I have some old favorites and a few new discoveries. The first product is the Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Liner in the shade Puffy Nude. This is a plumping lip liner that has that plumping tingle that I love. It also stays in place and is a beautiful color. I like to wear this lip liner in combo with my all-time favorite lipstick, which is the Fenty Gloss Bomb Lipstick. I own this in three colors, Hibiscus, Is It Fu$$y, and Blazed Donut, all of which are gorgeous shades.
The next lip product is the YSL Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil in shade 44 Nude Lavalier. From the first use, I was hooked on this because it’s not too pigmented. A lot of the lip oils that are tinted, they have a lot of pigment in them and I find that I have to be careful when putting them on. This one is so nice and sheer that I can just put it on without needing to check myself in a mirror. It looks great and I love the big doe foot applicator. It smells like fresh watermelon and it feels so good on the lips.
Another lip oil is the Ilia Overglaze Lip Gloss in the shade Slip. The main thing about this lip oil is that I love how long it lasts. I put this on and 5 hours later I still feel that cushiony gloss on my lips. This one is also very sheer, so you don’t have to pay too much attention when you’re applying it. I love how hydrated in makes my lips feel, but my one complaint is that I wish the applicator was larger, it’s just a bit too small for my liking.
Now for the most effective lip plumper that I’ve tried, it’s the Dr. Dennis Gross Plump & Repair Lip Plumper. It gives you a nice minty tingle that’s not over the top. I bought this two years ago and I put it on every time I want to moisturize, hydrate, and plump up my lips a little bit. I have this in shade beige which is a very sheer shade, but it does offer a little bit of color to your lips. It also comes in 3 other tinted shades and clear.
The last lip product I’m going to recommend is one with sunscreen in it because now that it’s spring we’re going to be spending more time outside and your lips need sun protection. It’s the Supergoop Glow Gloss SPF 40 Lip Balm in the shade Peppermint Pink and I love that it’s minty and a barely there pink gloss. It gives your lips some shine and makes them look and feel hydrated. I’ve tried a few other sunscreen lip glosses and they taste awful, feel awful, or don’t moisturize my lips. So this one is my new favorite way to protect my lips from the sun.
SUNSCREEN
If you know me you know that I am always recommending sunscreens to use! Well there are two that I just absolutely love. This first one was the winner of my sunscreen testing video in 2025, it’s the Kopari Bright As Day Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. This sunscreen is absolute perfection, you can put this on for a no makeup day because it has a really nice tint to it. The coverage from the tint isn’t too heavy, but it still evens out your skin tone. It has a nice sheer natural glowy finish to it, but it dries down feeling set and not sticky or greasy. Unfortunately this sunscreen is not available at Sephora, but I just had to include it because it truly is my holy grail.
Another one that was really high in last year’s rankings was the Supergoop Mineral Glow Screen SPF 40. It’s a little bit paler than the Kopari and it gives more of a highlighter look. Once this is dry and set, it feels really great on the skin. It reflects light in such a beautiful way, but it almost acts like makeup primer, so great under makeup especially if you want your makeup to be extra glowy.
FRAGRANCE
Something that’s in my cart already that I want to get is a new fragrance. I was at Sephora the other day testing the fragrances and I fell in love with the Kayali Maldives in a Bottle. The scent is a fresh citrus islandy smell and it’s just magical. The bottle is also so pretty and looks like beautiful light blue ocean water.
HAIRCARE
The final products that I will be talking about in the Sephora Sale will be haircare. I really love my Oribe Shampoo and Conditioner, but I am not blind to the fact that it is frightfully expensive. So I do like to get the 20% off on it during the sale to bring the price down a bit. The Oribe products make my hair so soft, silky, and healthy looking. I had only discovered these a few years ago, but before that, I struggled with my hair every single day. It was frizzy, dry, and just didn’t look good. Now because of Oribe my hair is so strong and looks so great. It even keeps my blonde nice and bright with no brassiness ever.
Another product by Oribe that I love so much is their Dry Texturizing Spray. It’s very light hold hairspray, but the thing I love about it, which some people might not like, is that it makes my hairstyle look a little less polished. I highly recommend this if you want your hair to not be quite so neat and tidy all the time. If you like a little bit more of a messy look, this is great for achieving that.
