Hi Angie ,I was thinking of your break out problem, I don’t know if you still have a problem, but I can tell you about my experiences. When I was 26 I developed fully blown adult acne and so I started using Retin A gel. This was before the found out that it was good for wrinkles. And it worked a treat, remember originally it was an acne treatment. Then later in life I got my doctor to write me a script for it and it was a cream. It was a disaster, too strong, and that cream on my oily sensitive skin, was a new kind of acne hell. I was just wondering if you are applying the cream or the gel. The gel is much better for me and I am back using the gel form as I know I can tolerate it much better, even on my 57 year old face.

Hey Angie, Just curious, are you still using the Mad Hippie instead of the Olay for your night serum? If so could this be the reason for your break out? I have been following your vlog for a while and was shocked to see you with a break out! I recently changed to a coconut facial cleaner and developed a blocked eyelash area which is turning into a sty. Not Good! I am going back to my tried and true. Happy New Year!

  Hi Karyn~ I am still using the Mad Hippie & hadn’t thought it contributed to my breakouts… I’m also trying 2 new high-end anti-aging creams as well and the breakout seems to be more on one side of my face than the other so I was thinking it was that… hard to tell but I’ll keep the Mad Hippie in mind. Hi Angie, LOVE your channel and appreciate your guidance so much. I just got the Mad Hippie foundation and their literature commented on the use of titanium dioxide (on not using). Do you have any info on this? Most mineral sunscreens use both titanium and zinc and Mad Hippie is only SPF 30 so I’m feeling torn…

  Hi Michelle~ I wasn’t aware that Mad Hippie made a foundation. I looked on their web site and don’t see one there either. I looked at the sunscreen they make and it doesn’t contain titanium dioxide but they don’t comment on the ingredient one way or the other. A sunscreen with zinc oxide as the sole sun screening agent will provide broad spectrum coverage. ~angie
