Ulta Haul 2015 ~ Becca, Urban Decay, Tarte, Fit Me!
With my Ulta 20% OFF Storewide Coupon and a long list in hand, I shopped resulting in what can only be called an Ulta Haul! I don’t usually buy so much at once, and I only got half of what I went there to look at, but it was fun and satisfying. Here’s what I got:
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Foundation*:
I’m always looking for foundations that look good on mature skin so thought I’d give this one a try.
Becca Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation*:
I’d like to find a powder foundation that I like as much as IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation (just for variety), so we’ll see if the Becca “Perfect Skin” Powder can knock the IT off it’s pedestal!
Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette*:
I had 3 matte palettes in my hands (and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get all 3), but Naked 2 won out. The colors (all cool taupes and browns) are gorgeous, and right up my alley! I put back the Tarte Tartelette Palette and the Stila Eyes Are The Windows Mind Palette. . . mistake?
Urban Decay Eden Eyeshadow Primer Potion*:
This is for the eyeshadow primer testing video I’ve been working on (forever). I thought it should include an UD primer since it is a cult favorite, but I chose the “Eden” version which is a matte flesh tone that’ll cover up my freckles and give me a clean palette for eyeshadows. We’ll see how it does against the competition. . .
Tarte Clean Slate 360 Creaseless 12 Hour Smoothing Eye Primer*:
Also for the eyeshadow primer video, I couldn’t resist this one because of it’s claims of “creaseless” and especially “smoothing”! High hopes and fingers crossed. . .
Marc Anthony Bye Bye Frizz Shampoo*:
My favorite shampoo for taming my frizz. I always want to stock up but they only have one on the shelf at Ulta, so I bought it.
Kiss InstaWave*: http://a.chipp.us/r/hotandflashy/5d15/
I really don’t need another hair tool, but I got this more for my daughters and me to share. They both have prom coming up and I’m (unrealistically) hoping they might like and use this. Or I may love it too… I liked that it spins in either direction and is all open. Wish me luck!
CoverGirl Clump Crusher Extensions Mascara*:
My all time fave mascara!
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation*:
If it says “matte & pore less” I’ve got to try it, because that’s how I like to look! I know many women around my age struggle with enlarged pores (it’s just the nature of aging skin), so if this does what it says, I’ll be thrilled!
Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Serum*:
Can’t live without this serum, but still don’t like to pay full price so the 20% off was great!
Coola Mineral Face SPF 30 Matte Cucumber*:
I’m trying this sunscreen for a sunscreen comparison video. I’m searching for THE ONE all mineral product that doesn’t leave me with a white mask or too shiny (not easy to find).
CeraVe Broadspectrum Face Lotion SPF 50*:
This is also for the sunscreen video… I sure have my fingers crossed for a lot of these products…
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer*:
This is for my neck. I can’t use Retin-A there so I wanted to try a retinol cream to help with the wrinkles there.
Hada Labo Ultimate Anti-Aging Face Masks*:
These look so nice! I love a good sheet mask and I’ve been hearing great things about Hada Labo “super” hyaluronic acid lately. Picture me relaxing with a sheet mask on, all my fingers and toes crossed, and visions of great new products dancing in my head!
